I agree Judy sleep when you can DJ.

We had 138 mm of rain today. I can hear the creek behind my house roaring away. Had to let water out of the pool 4 times today and it overflowed last night and up to my ankles in the back hard. Thought I had lost the dog as the  grass is so long and the he was sinking!


Thought the "WET" was over. LOL!

I saw that on the news (that you were going to receive a lot of rain) - if only we could share the rain around instead of some people getting the lot and others hardly any.

A few pages back there was talk of cleaning ovens... I will have to try the ammonia method...

But as for cleaning the racks: I put a towel in the bottom of the bath,  put oven racks and rails on it,  then add water and....napisan! Leave for a few hours/overnight (careful not to leave unattended with children of course), the baked on stuff is then super easy to remove.  I use an old toothbrush so that I can get into the tricky parts,  but no elbow grease required :)

OMG I realised I am Bad oven mother.

So long as the oven doesn't smoke and set off the smoke alarm I am good to go. If I can get he glass door unstuck enough to have a look I might try cleaning  it sometime maybe . Or NOT!

LOL I am with you on that one Gert.
Long time since I have been on the forum but finally our renovations almost complete and we have enjoyed the past few nights here in the house. It's been full on for months and still a very busy few days ahead but the end is almost there. DH and I are off to Queenstown for a well earned 10 days on Wednesday. I can't wait for time on our own just to relax as when we return home we have old friends fom Scotland coming to stay with us.havent seen them since 1987 so will be lots of fun as no doubt we are all still picturing each other as we were all those years ago. I have missed the forum and hopefully will be active again very soon.

Thanks CC  :D hopefully I will have some free time again soon as life has been far too busy to be enjoyable.
How is Louis? My brood are all growing up too quickly. Jackson is a little Buddha or I should say 'big' but very cute.
