DJ, you need to look after yourself, it really is the only way to get better quick, try to give yourself an easy day ... but I know that will be so hard for you between lambs, gardens, house, etc. etc. etc.

Cuilidh is right, DJ.. This is what I've had.. Really knocks the stuffing out of you. I'much better than I was but still coughing and heading into week 4.  You MUST rest and keep warm ! It's a cow of a big and seems to be everywhere!

You poor ladies. Take lots of care of yourself and get well.

Sounds like my DD too. Soldiering on but still unwell. Poor DJ, such a busy life.  I hope you can have a rest over the weekend.

Take care DJ. I've not been as sick as you but I am into week 3 of runny nose, sore throat and coughing. Not nice and really hard to shrug.
Glad you are ok Gert, Robyn and INAID. Take care. Hope the power comes back quickly.

Gert and INAID I hope things are ok up there. I have been watching the news here and they say you are copping it. I see Ita is going to continue on down the coast instead of crossing over the coast. Thinking of you. Robyn it seems not to be coming over the coast, lucky you.

Soup and back to bed sounds good to me DJ - best place to be if you are sick.

Morning everyone. Although sun must be up above the clouds  it is still dark underneath. No power and no promise of power any day soon. The pain in the aspidistra  next door is using her generator to vacuum her house at 0700 on Sunday morning .Get a grip I say. She must have had a leaf blow into her house. Her generator is so loud it makes my house vibrate.

There is a lot of flooding around and advised  to stay off the highway so no chance of me driving into my DD's  place for a recharge. Her power is on the hospital grid so no loss of power at all. Will be powering down my iPad so I don't lose it completely. Thank goodness for having a SIM card in it so using  4G.

Just heard on the radio that the highway  from my place to the city is under water

Catch ya all later.

I have three crayfish tails in the freezer. Thinking I better grill them on the BBQ and have a bloody mary for brekkie.
