I'm shivering just looking at that Chookie.  It's 5 deg. on my back verandah at the moment.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

We were down to 1 most of the day.  The house is about 23, so nice and warm.  Ral is cleaning the silver and I am cleaning out the filing cabinet.  Would rather be cooking.

Chookie, that looks so beautiful !! It wasn't as bad as they predicted in Sydney today.. It was quite a nice day... But the wind has picked up now and the gusts are very strong... the temp has dropped to 9C

Happy anniversary Judy and Geoff.

Chookie I love the photo, thank you. I had a call from my brother in Bungendore (ACT ) earlier tonight and he said it was snowing but melting as it hit the ground. It sounded lovely.

I am in Sydney at my friends house. I am in bed with a doona and  kindle and am too  cold to type. It was 28 in Cairns today and DH was in the pool. My fingers are freezing.

Thanks girls, I saw him today.  He was in good form as usual.

Tonight I went to the theatre with my Probus girls to see Sound of Music, a wonderful performance.  Picked up by mini bus and dropped at my door afterwards, can't beat that.

I feel for you Gert, it must be a shock to your system coming south in winter.

Morning all.
Well done Judy,  glad you enjoyed the show.
When I took  the photo of the snow it was a  very light dusting.  As the day went on it became quite heavy,  about a fingers depth in cover all over.  We haven't had a dump like this for years.  I was thinking of Gert in Sydney.  Today should be warmer although it is 0 at the moment.
Have a nice weekend everyone.
