Good morning everyone.  Sleepless night worrying about that darn remote control.  I keep telling myself people have much bigger problems than than but it means so much to Geoff that I can't help worrying about it.

Good morning Judy.
Very understandable that you worry as the remote is needed by Geoff to enjoy his TV programs. :)

It's all relative Judy - and losing the remote is a big problem for Geoff, so it's understandable your worried about it.  Hopefully they have found it.

Lovely photo of you two - I didn't see it yesterday as I was on Tatatalk then and it didn't appear.
Have a good day!

I can understand it Judy.  You can buy just a remote control, a universal one from places like Dick Smith.  I know you can get them with bigger buttons etc. not too expensive, might be worth getting one as a back up.  I am sure anything that gives Geoff a little independence us viral to him.

I've spoken to Dick Smith (that's where I bought the TV) and they told me about the universal remote Denise.  I've also emailed Panasonic to see if they can point me in the right direction to buy the same remote as he had as he was used to that.  It will depend on their answer as to which path I go down - I expect the Panasonic remote would be quite expensive compared with the universal remote.  I like the sound of the big buttons though.

We have replaced a Samsung remote directly from Samsung NZ, and it was quite reasonably priced - I think it was about $20 plus gst and freight. So fingers crossed Panansonic is similar.
