Would love some of those berries chookie.

Poor you DJ. Stay with the fireplace and don't venture out at all. This lurgy is a pain.

33 and sunny here. Good day to,get in the pool with a book, while, keeping an eye on the cricket.

Good Morning. The berries sound interesting Chookie, what are you going to do with them?
Have fun shopping Robyn.
DH is in the garden tidying up and has been bitten on the hand by something, quite swollen. I've given him an antihistamine, hopefully that will do the trick and we don't have to do a dash to emergency.

Poor DH Mich, I hope he is ok. He has a private nurse so I am sure he will be fine.

Quite warm here again, I lose my mojo when it is hot. Just can't be bothered.
DJ that bug just keeps on keeping on. Stay warm. (it seems to be funny saying that when I am hot)

Chookie what does the Jostaberry look like? Is it dark or light? It sounds interesting.

Chookie I have never heard of those berries before but they sound nice.  While staying at DJ's this year I was lucky to taste some of CC's blackcurrant jam which was wonderful as was DJ's award winning marmalade!!!

Great teapot Gert - hope you manage to find that cast iron teapot you are looking for!

DJ, I do hope that you are feeling a little better today.  Stay warm and cosy xxxx

DH is OK. He has a huge haematoma on his hand, (that I've iced) which makes me wonder if he got a stab with a fern frond rather than bitten? He is still breathing, so no emergency thank goodness as we go away tomorrow.

Glad to hear DH not too bad McMich, must have been a shock.

Thanks for good wishes, am now back in bed today on different AB for chest after seeing doctor again. Seven days of these will be fun, have to take one hour before food or two hours after,  4 x day and no milk, but if I can get back to normal all will be worth it.

Been a hard ground frost here again, all white. Will get up and put some soup on later. I am just trying to rest properly to start the recovery process. DH is away working tomorrow so that's another quiet day and maybe by weds the lurgy will actually be retreating.

Glad you liked the jam and marmalade Trudy  ;) I never heard of those berries either.
I made a black currant coulis last week to go with panacotta with our currants from the freezer.
