At least you could get under CC. It would have been awful if you had to go over. Do you have barbed wire on the top of fences there? I don't think I could have handled 14 inquisitive horses either.
There are three sections of barbed wire stretched along the length of the field supported by fence posts Cookie. No way would I go over the top.Easier for me to roll under the bottom bit of wire. ;D

You and Chance get yourselves into some tricky situations Denise!
We certainly do Judy ;D ;D Of course Chance is oblivious of our situation,he's got his head down sniffing out a scent and just follows me.

Morning all.
Mild cool day here.
Finished Chicken Hilton yesterday. Girls love it.
CC, hope it wasn't too muddy where you had to go under the fence.
Last night Ral called me out to see a Wombat at our back door. She wasn't in any great hurry to go away.  We think it is the mother of last years baby. She has 2 white front feet.  We think she is pregnant again.

What a treat chookie. Your wombat is comfortable with you obviously.

The wombat would be happy eating chookie"s  garden I am sure.

My consultant still has knot picked up my TMX and it is now getting to me but it is such a magnificent morning here I shall let it go for the moment.

Wombats eat grass and roots.  Not interested in garden, thank heavens. Wallabies eat garden.

She already has 2 of her own in their tiny back yard Chookie, a mother and her baby.  She feeds them bananas.  I saw them when I was over at Easter time.  She now has no dogs so is making friends with anything that comes into her back yard including doves, these have gone from a pair to an extended family who pop in for a feed every night!

Gert stir them up.
Chookie I would love to have a wombat anywhere near, let alone at the door. So wonderful. We don't have possums either. We enjoy seeing them when we are over East.

I do not like possums at all cute as they are. They are also a pain in the butt.  Thank goodness we do not have them here in Cairns in my house. Snakes, bush turkeys, cane toads and bats are quite enough for me where I live.

We've got rabbits ... lots of cute wee rabbits bouncing all over my garden and saving me the worry of digging holes (even if they are in the wrong place) ... would anyone like 50 or so?  Free to a good home, you just need to catch them!
