We used to have a saying the kids loved chanting, 'wind and rain affect the brain'

So true Cookie,
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I must agree with the playground duties on awful days. We used to have a saying the kids loved chanting, 'wind and rain affect the brain'
Indeed! Rain, wind and the full moon!!
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

Oops, forgot the full moon. DD is has always said the full moon affected her clientele. In this day and age most people don't believe it, but it certainly has an affect. The parents used to laugh at us with the wind and rain, I think they needed to spend an hour in with us.

On a different tangent, can someone please clarify if I should use effect or affect? My brain has gone numb in that area! If it ever knew. ;D

Good morning CC, hope you get your blue sky day.
We are in for a grey rainy one tomorrow.
Cookie, you had it right in putting affected.  I know when I worked in Aged care, then residents often acted differently in a full moon.  Our cat also acts out if if is a full moon.
