Good to have you back, Uni, your trip would certainly leave you exhausted.  Take the time to have a good rest.

Good morning everyone, big day in football but a pity it's going to be so warm for it.  Good luck to your team cookie.

Had a bit of a ' senior moment' this afternoon.  I was heading up to our weekend home and pulled into my regular service station to get petrol.  It is my habit before I get out of the car to get the petrol I put my handbag on the driver's seat so that it is handy for when I go to pay for the fuel and, what did I find ... NO HANDBAG!!!  Fortunately, I hadn't filled up so not embarrassing, but it is a very weird feeling to know that you have no money, no ID, no credit cards, no house keys, no phone, NO NOTHING! (well, other than about $5 in coin for parking meters).  I thought it would be just be my luck to be picked up on the road for some random thing or other but fortunately that didn't happen and as my neighbours both have house keys for our place I at least have a roof over my head tonight.

We don't keep money here but I have found $10.00 so that I can at least buy some petrol to get home tomorrow!  I think I will now leave a small stash in both the car and our house for future senior moments  :-[

Hi friends.
A dry overcast day here.I had a good walk with Chance.Lots of deer around this morning.

I certainly have had "senior moments"Marina.Years ago I went shopping drove into a car park but couldn't leave as it was payment at the exit and yes I had forgotten my handbag with money etc!! I had to borrow the money off a complete stranger to get out :-[ When I returned I looked for the persons car and left a payment under the windscreen wipers.
Good going on finding $10 for your return journey :-*
