That's good news, Cookie.  Fingers crossed she will be out of there and back home again before too long.

Morning all.
Cookie, hope MIL is getting better.
Another beautiful day here.   We are off to Melbourne again today. GS school arrange lunch with GP.
Hope to collect AA new cook books. GD ( 11 years old)  has asked for one for Xmas.
Uni love those mugs. Looks like a good activity to do with the GC.

Left Ballarat 1.5 hrs ago, some sort of traffic hold up.  We should have been home 10 mins ago but the Westgate bridge is now in sight.  Good thing the kids don't have to open the shop until 10 am.

Good luck with MIL's test results cookie, sometimes these things are hard to diagnose. I hope she isn't too stressed being away from 'home'.

Back to the city already Chookie, have fun at GP day and I hope the books are ready to collect.

Chook is the fact that your GD would like an AA book is so wonderful. Enjoy your day at school, I'm sure it will be fun.

Judy, when I went out to the airport the traffic was bumper to bumper going the other way. I don't know what the hold up was. Enjoy your flight home.

Thanks everyone for asking about MIL. Fortunately she seems better. She is having her endoscopy privately. The Rockingham hospital isn't really very good.  They just don't care about old ladies, even if they are our Grandma.  ;D

Obbie I must agree 1 hour travel each way isn't much. However when DH has been having to do it a couple of times a day it was tiresome. I don't know how people cope with travelling over 2 hours  a day, every day. It is the doing it everyday that would defeat me I think. Perhaps I'm too old now. ( only on the outside)  ;D

Cookie, I used to drive 20 hours a week every week for work,  so a couple of hours is easy.

Brissie this weekend for a wedding.. :)

When you live regionally or remotely, travel is part and parcel of the lifestyle.
I travel 45mins each way to work and they wonder why I won't work for just 4 hours. Not worth getting out of bed for.

Hi friends.
A wet start to the day here and it was very muddy walking with Chance this morning.

I hope the book arrived for you Chookie. :)

Good Morning everyone!!! Its going to be a sunny day today after some gray and wet days :)
Feeling really energized but there is sooooo much to do before I go on holiday in a month.. My manager has been adding more and more work and expects me to finish it before I leave   ???

We have been getting our backyard renovated and it is exciting as I now will have a proper veggie garden :)
Have already planted a mango, apple, orange, lemon and curry leaf tree, it will be nice to see them grow

Morning all.
Thermailover your garden is certainly something to look forward to.
The books didn't arrive.  But AA was most generous and has offered to post 3 free of charge.  Very nice gesture.
Most beautiful sunny day here. CC, Autumn is a lovely time of the year.
Yesterday visited GS school and it was a real pleasure to see all the little kids running around.

Good morning everyone.  31 here today so I was out in the garden early filling the green bin with a dead pine tree.  Lots of jobs to do today, most important one is visiting DH & Mum.
