For Uni... I loved the movie the Dressmaker. It was so good that I would consider seeing it again.

Morning all.
Hot and windy today. Better get out and water the pots before it gets too hot.

Good morning everyone.

Finally starting to feel a little better.  I've now given the "bug" to DH, I feel sorry for him as I know how miserable he is feeling.

Poor DH Margaret. I hope he is soon back on deck.

It sounds interesting CC. I'll second 'what is a squab cushion?'

A Squab Cushion is just a thick cushion that is made for a chair or couch. The one I'm making will be stuffed with horsehair and stitched by hand to make it firm and solid. It's to protect the seat part of a cane chair that I caned. :)

Just a thought about horse hair, CC.  I don't know where you get it from, but we have an elderly man who makes rocking horses as a hobby and he comes around and collects our old hair off bows that we rehair then takes it home, washes it and re-uses it.  It's a free source of hair for him and recycles a natural product at the same time.
