That's an unusual way to keep cool Judy.

It's cool here again today. I believe Thursday is going back to 39. The house hasn't cooled down from the last lot yet.

It looks like the immediate danger is over for the fire ravaged parts of the South West of WA. The poor people whose town was all but wiped out were allowed back today to see what's left of their homes. Not many left.
My niece and her husband have a vetinary clinic in Bunbury further south. They are looking after 7 cats, including a Mum puss and her 1 week old kittens, and several dogs. They all belong to evacuees from the fire.

Another cold start here.

A good way to cool down in the heat Judy LOL

What a lovely thing for your niece and her DH to do,to look after pets who have been evacuated Katj. They must love their job.

The kindness of people in circumstances such as this really comes to the fore, it really is wonderful to hear these stories Katj

I'm pleased you don't have to return to the dentist Judy. Katj, like you we have received out reminder for our 6 monthly check and I haven't made the appointments yet either. I'm still scared of dentists.

It's great that the fire problems are diminishing. One of the roads to the south was re opened today. They say the other main road won't be opened for a while.

Morning all.
41 degrees here today. We will be sitting inside , with the air conditioner on, looking at the beach. GC go home today.  Will miss them but will be nice to have the rest of week to ourselves.
Glad the fires have subsided in WA. Dreadful experience for all involved.

Good Morning Everyone and Happyyy New Year!!!

Back from my holiday and into the routine...
Had a 5 week holiday with my family and friends but it seemed really short, now it feels like a dream :(
LO has been missing everyone and is mostly dull, wish I could make her understand why she sees her
grandparents on a screen (skype) rather than next to her..

Hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!! Have a good day everyone!
