Richard upgraded my computer recently and I'm now running Windows10 - just discovered on their calendar that October only has 30 days.

LOL. DD received a calendar related to her work, from quite a well known company, that is missing December 31st.

Morning all.
Astarra, glad you are ok. Not a good sight having smoke so close.
De clutter going great, well for me.  Ral having trouble letting go of stuff that might come in handy. We have now nearly filled very large skip. Gert, good advice about not opening boxes.
Out to friends Birthday party tonight. Will be staying over. Should be good fun as hosts have run a Restaurant.

Every southern state has had bad fires now this summer, 15 minutes away is too close for comfort astarra.

Chookie enjoy your day out, the short break will do you good.  It is hard to toss out things we might have a need for down the track, men in particular hate parting with such items. Do you have to get another skip in?

Astarra I am thinking of you. Fires spook me, especially when they are near. Some of towns ( not the fire ones) have received flooding rains over the last few days. Climate change has a lot to answer for.
Another lovely day here. It was only 26 yesterday. Take care in the heat Mich and others.

Glad you are safe Astarra. Fire is so unpredictable a puff of wind in another direction can cause havoc.
DH and I attended the local council advice meet on having a plan if a fire should break out.

Morning all  :)
blanketed in smoke here, and have ash falling on us  :o (I'm thankful it is only ash and not embers tho)
an almost eerie feeling. The light is strange.
The sun yesterday evening was a brilliant red, absolutely incredible - i tried so hard to get a photo but didn't succeed :( Then the moon came up and was orange  ???
:D
