Happy Fathers Day to all Dads in Australia.Ours was in June.

A cloudy day here. It rained late yesterday afternoon and all night so the slugs were on maneuvers across the fields again this morning.I reckon I stepped on a few walking  :D

DD gave DH some interesting presents today - fillet steak, marinated & par-cooked ribs, choccies and strawberries.  A bit spoilt but guess who has to cook the food to take in to him?

Hope all Dads everywhere had a lovely day.
DH and I spent best part of day at GS 6th birthday party. All kids were dressed in super hero costumes and lots of old fashion games played, pass the parcel, pin tail on the donkey, treasure hunt etc. Kids had a ball.

@Katj, love the games, brings back so many memories, I wonder if anyone plays pass the parcel or pin the tail on donkey any more.. I try to arrange these games for friends when they come over, nothing like those good old ones :)

Good morning everyone.  Catching up with an old friend from Queensland today, lots to talk about over lunch after we've visited the nursing home.

We had an early morning fog, but it is lifting now so we will have a lovely spring day. A top of 20. Beautiful.

Morning all.
Out all day today. Eye specialist for Glaucoma has shifted to Doncaster which is a 2 hour drive. B*****. Going to be a nice day and would rather spend it in the garden.

Good morning everyone, another lovely day here.
That's a long drive for an eye specialist Chookie, are there no specialists in Ballarat you can change over to?

Good morning everyone.
I've not been on for a few weeks so it's nice to be back.  I've had a nasty bladder infection and it's really knocked me about.  It's left me feeling very weak with no energy and almost 5kgs lighter.  I don't know what I would have done without DH, he has been wonderful.   I'm finally starting to feel a bit better although I tire very quickly and usually end up having a nanny nap in the afternoon, something I rarely ever did.
Hopefully I have turned the corner and can soon get back into some cooking.  Poor thermie is very neglected.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
