Thanks for all the good wishes for Cherokee. Some of you are going to have trouble walking with so many things crossed.  :o We did a dash over today. We have had 3 1/2 inches of rain since Sat afternoon. It is still raining and many dams are overflowing. Everything at Cherokee was OK, but could wish for better weather so people could enjoy outside.

Thermilover, when is Bub due?

Hi friends.
Great news that you have interested parties for Cherokee Chookie.

It's unseasonably warm here today.I think it's great LOL. Our winters are long so soaking up this last minute sunshine.
A good walk with Chance but the grass was leaden with heavy dew and of course the slugs were on the move.I must have squashed a fair few walking across the fields. ;D

Morning all.
It has rained all night and is still raining.
CC, thanks for the reminder about the slugs. They will love this rain.
We think our dam might overflow and the little fish will go with the overflow.

Good morning everyone.  Very windy and wet day here today, a real doosie apparently.  So Chookie it's probably heading your way after it's finished here, definately not an outside job day,

Sorry to hear of your gestational diabetes thermilover, your doctor will be watching you closely now.  Enjoy your holiday in spite of having to watch what you eat.

Thermilover, take care. 13 weeks watching what you eat is small sacrifice for a healthy Bub. Stick with it , we will all help if we can.

I have been seeing pictures of the rain around Ballarat. Chookie I do hope your dam doesn't overflow with the fish in the over flow. When I was a kid we had that happen on the farm, then Dad decided to have marron ( fresh water crayfish) in the dam and when it got struck by lightening the marron would all die!

Thermilover that is not good. Take care and enjoy your little holiday.

Wettest day in 95 years Chookie, did you stay indoors all day?  It was a ghastly day here, the wind blew me all over the footpath going into the nursing home.  Not many visitors there today, only mad people like me were out in it.

I couldn't cope with walking into a cobweb Denise, I'd have worried something might have been at home in it and I was it's new home!

Morning all.
Yes Judy it has been very wet so we went shopping. The dam is overflowing in 3 places, not too bad. I think it has stopped raining for today. There was not much wind here.
The chooks have mud up their legs but don't seem to mind. They have a concrete area that is dry but seem to like the mud. We bought a bale of straw to put down for them over the mud. They can scratch in this without getting muddy.
CC, that spider web would terrify me as I hate spiders.
It has been just as wet at Cherokee and this is when a family wanted an inspection. They are coming back with their son in a couple of weeks. He is OS at moment.
