Cookie, it really has been cold here in Perth, I agree. A month of Spring gone already and only 2 or 3 sunny days.
I will never complain about Summer ever again haha.

We had it so hot in Darwin that I said I wouldn't complain about the cold this winter. However all the wet, cold days have me on the verge of complaining. DH takes it all in his stride but even he is getting a bit fed up without being able to work outside.
We're going away for a week in October so I hope it's fine for that.

Hello all, quick catch up, busy with B & B this weekend but living in wrong place as almost all DH's work is in another County so somehow, some time there will be another move. Don't know how long it will take to sell up, could be ages, and all the while the fortnightly cancer treatment to extend his life goes on. He is well at the moment, working and that's how he likes it. xx
Great to hear from you DJ.
Wow another move!! Good to know your DH is well and responding well to the cancer treatment.

Oh my goodness DJ I cannot imagine another move for you after all you put into making your B&B so beautiful but it was alway inevitable I guess that this would be happening. I am sure you will have some good interest when you put it on the market. DH has done well so far and you are both making a difference in making Awareness of Kidney Cancer in the U.K.

Morning all.
DJ, good to hear from you and that everything is going well. Shame that you will have to shift after the work you have done on the B and B.
At Cherokee. Cold but sunny. It is the start of Spring at Cherokee. We are about 4 to 6 weeks behind Melbourne. Also had lots of rain.
NBN have appointment to come tomorrow morning. Hope all goes as planned.
GC also coming to stay for week.

Cold and rainy in Perth today.
We were happy to see Western Bulldogs get to the final. DH and I are certainly not Bulldog fans but my DIL in Melbourne is a big fan and now scrambling to get tickets for the Grand Final. 1st team in AFL history to come from 7th on the ladder and get to GF. Their 1st final since 1961. Go Dogs!

Good morning everyone.  It was a great match Katj and I think the doggies will have plenty of supporters next weekend. Sunny day here after a nice drop of rain yesterday, looks like there's more on the way from the west though.
Apart from having to move again DJ, it sounds as if everything is going pretty well for you - good luck with it all.

Hi friends.
An overcast wet day here.It was very quiet walking Chance this morning,we didn't even encounter a car on our route today.
SIL is going home today. We've had a fabulous time together. She absolutely loved Tenina's cooking demo. She was awarded one of Tenina's wooden spoons for the person traveling the longest distance to see the demo.SIL was thrilled. :D

Have a great time with the GC Chookie. :)
I hope your DIL is successful getting final tickets Katj. ;D

I must agree that the Greater Western Sydney and Bull dogs was a good game. I listened to it on the radio but ended up watching it on TV.

I'm pleased you both enjoyed Tenina's class Denise. I really like that book.

Good morning everyone.  I agree Chookie, they don't need entertaining at that age and are helpful around the house too!  Good luck with the NBN connection today.

Good Morning everyone!!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend...
It was gloomy and windy yesterday, I hate that combination, so was dull all day and did nothing much...
Feels nice as the sun is out today :)

It is cold and overcast here today with rain forecast. Most unusual for spring. I guess when it gets hot it will come with a bang.
