Good morning everyone.  A sunny morning but a little cool.

Morning all.
Good morning everyone.  A sunny morning but a little cool.
Same here at Invermay.
Last night picked more mushrooms which I sautéed for dinner to go with roasted chicken and salad that daughter brought. Also picked snow peas which will stir fry for dinner tonight with asparagus also from garden.

Cookie, sounds like your garden is producing lots even after all the cold weather.

Judy, hope your feeling much better today.

Morning all.
CC, that must have been a nice change for you and Chance to have company when walking.
Yesterday the strangest thing happened. Ral was given several Coffee Vouchers for Xmas , by our DD. She thought it would be a good introduction to getting around Ballarat.
Yesterday we went to Buningyong, 15 minutes drive from central Ballarat to use one of the $25 Vouchers. They refused to honour it as the shop owner said it wasn't their regular Voucher.
I rang our DD and she said the shop was very busy and the young girl who organised it said it wasn't their usual voucher ( this one was written on one of their coffee cards ) but would be OK as they were very busy and she didn't have time to do one.
The implication is that we had fraudulently. manufactured the gift voucher.
As our DD said, 2 more unlikely suspects for fraud would be difficult to find. We know she wouldn't do this either.
I thought of writing about this on Trip Advisor but think it would be more effective to tell as many as possible in the Ballarat community. Word will spread fast.
Feel better now that I have let off steam. ,!
The silly thing is that when we use the voucher for coffee we then usually buy lunch or at least morning tea.

Good morning everyone.

What a shame Chookie, they obviously haven't heard what wonderful townsfolk you are.  DD must be very disappointed too.

How disappointing Chookie. It is their loss.

How upsetting for you and Ral Chookie. I would have thought the owner could have said they would check with the staff before refusing to honour the voucher.
