Morning all.
Marina, glad you enjoyed your trip and are home safe. Missed you.
Today we are to be hit again with cold and wet weather at Invermay.  Snow is forecast for Cherokee. Open Day again tomorrow.
Yesterday we did our jobs around Ballarat and had lunch at the Yacht Club.
The water lilies we planted in the dam are now showing. We may have to wait until next year for flowers.

Unbelievable weather for this time of the year Chookie, the winds were so strong last night that everyone's rubbish bins blew over so I had to put mine away until I put them out again at 7 am this morning. Can't wait to see your photos of the water lilies when they flower.

Thermilover you must be cutting it fine to leave work with the baby due around the same time?

No Judy, I am due second week of December and was planning to work until the last week of November, but now finishing 2 weeks earlier than I thought as I am not able to drag myself to work every day

Just got home from 3 days in Port Pirie to catch up with Mum since getting home from our trip.  Marina, so pleased you had a great holiday.  Venice was busy wasn't it!  Seems like we have been home for weeks instead of just over a week.

CC, I am so glad you heard that van coming.  What an idiot!  You sure had a lucky escape.

Katie, hope your Mum is starting to feel a little less sore.  We also have an alarm for Mum and it's so good knowing that someone will come if she presses the alarm.

We drove back through Virginia today.  Was amazed to see how much water is still everywhere from the recent flooding.  We had watched some news reports via the internet OS but it was still a shock to see the extent of the damage these poor market gardeners have to live with.

Good Morning all!! Cold and wet here but what is bothering me is my hayfever, pregnancy has made it difficult to take any sort of medicine and itchy eyes and nose are keeping me awake all night  As much as I love spring, hayfever does not let me enjoy it...

@CC we dont know the gender for sure yet but have an ultra sound this coming Thursday and I am looking fwd it, hope we get to know

All those with hay fever - it's the pits, isn't it.  I can't imagine not being able to take antihistamines - are there any 'natural' remedies that you can take?

I suffer terribly with hay fever, last year I was having nose bleeds to top it off (never had them before) I can't take antihistamines due to my Parkinson's I'm only allowed to use a nasal spay, which is useless, I'm going to try doterra oils this year. Hoping they work.
On a plus we had a beautiful day here I think it got to 30. I met a friend this afternoon down by the ocean it was so nice sitting in the sun sipping on a glass of wine.

I suffer from hay fever too so I know how you all feel. Jenny I use Rhinocort spray. It takes a few days to begin working but you just use it all spring, or as long as you need to.
