Fair bit of rain overnight so the farmer's market is going to be muddy this morning.  Hopefully the day will dry up and become a bit warmer.

Hi Everyone.
A cloudy day here today. I walked Chance early again this morning and being the weekend it was very quiet out there.

Looking forward to a cool but dry day. Will spend some time in the garden. The cape week is growing well. Might have to start spraying. If we don't it will takes over.

We have a terrible cape week problem here as well.  We bought a handy tool for pulling it out last year so it will be good to get more use out of it this year.  We are following up more organic control methods at the moment.  I'll try to remember to ask DH if he has any good ideas along those lines.

Looks like spring is coming. Another slightly warmer day.
Marina, natural solutions always better. I don't use any sprays in Veggie garden but 5 acres of cape weed we can't manage to hand weed. The chooks love it though.
Yesterday I made a list of what I had grown last year. I was amazed.

Good morning everyone.  Nice here at the moment but a few days of rain on the way apparently.
I had to google cape weed Chookie as I've never heard of it.  It looks a little familiar but I've only seen the odd plant here and there. Weeding takes the pleasure out of gardening doesn't it!

Good morning everyone.  A sunny morning here but still a bit cool.  The daffodils are out so spring is on the way.

Hi friends.
Another sunny day here. Pulled open our bedroom curtains this morning and startled a deer in our front garden. He fled into the wood opposite our house.
An early walk with Chance across the fields and on the footpaths. I saw a Hare in the distance this morning. Its such a beautiful sight to see. A "Flight" of Swallows were scooping up bugs on the wing too. Another super sight to watch. Of course Chance has his head down following a scent ;D

He misses all the wonders of nature Denise but he is doing what he loves.  That must have been a surprise with the deer this morning, they're gorgeous creatures.
