Good morning everyone.  It's going to be 32 deg here today.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

A little bit cooler here, I hope, I think it's forecast to be 30 - but then, what's a degree or two difference at those temperatures?!

Good morning everyone.  Very hot again here today and my half yearly lunch with a group of ex-MS carers has been postponed until next week. I was quite happy with that as I do have a residents’ meeting I was going to be a little late for if I went to lunch.
Just spent an hour or more on the phone and online negotiating a new home/contents deal - such a time waster but I saved a bit in the end and that was the object.

Judy, I don't know if this applies to you or not, but I found out totally by accident a year or so ago that if you have a mortgage, your insurance costs more, so if you are mortgage free, make sure you mention this to your insurance company and you will hopefully get something off your premium.

Well done Judy.
Another lovely day here, but it is warming up on Thursday.

Well done Judy.
I spent a whole day on the phone last year renegotiating our Electriciy.  We had to do some fairly sophisticated maths to decide on the best deal.  Shouldn’t have to be this complicated.
When I rang around for car insurance, one company wanted double for exactly the same policy.

Hi friends.
A grey day here today. I didn't walk Chance this morning as I was busy.

We have recently changed over our gas supplier to Kleenheat. They gave us 25% off. I have recently negotiated another 5% from them.
We only have one electricity supplier here so we are stuck with them.

Thanks Marina.  The insurance companhy did ask a lot of questions and that was one of them.
I get sick of having to renegotiate my energy contract every 12 months, it seems to come around very quickly.  I don’t like the idea of only having 1 supplier though cookie, with no competition they can charge what they like.

They do Judy. Thank goodness we have solar panels that generate electricity.

Good morning everyone.  Nice rainfall overnight and that’s always nice after a really hot spell.

Too hot to do anything at the moment.
Wish we had Judy’s rain.
