Thanks Denise.  A lot of events have been cancelled due to the heat here but so far today with it being so overcast it isn’t too bad but we do have 2 x over 40 degrees from tomorrow.
Good morning everyone, enjoy your day - cricket and tennis to watch for those who don’t want to venture out.
Life in big cities is certainly different to regional towns and cities Chookie, it’s always nice to go back home to the peace & quiet.  Enjoy your breakfast.

We had a lovely day over here for Australia Day. Only 30* or so. I listened to the cricket and last night watched the Scorchers wonderful win in BBL.

So pleased to hear you had a good Australia Day everyone.

It's been dry today but still very muddy walking. I saw a wonderful sight walking Chance this morning. A Doe and Buck watched me very carefully as I walked past them this morning. Normally they take off at full speed but this morning they didn't. Chance was busy on another scent so he couldn’t smell or see them.

CC, how special.  I watched a very large hare lope across our front paddock. To see wild life in its natural habitat is really special.
Judy, breakfast was special.  Will post photo.
Things not so special for me.  Have infection resulting from op. In hospital in Ballarat, where they are pumping me full of antibiotics.

Two spectacular meals. Yum.

Sadly, post op infections are all too common Chookie. Too many shortcuts by staff and hospitals alike.

Hope it clears up quickly.

Good morning everyone.
Chookie, sorry to hear that. I hope your local hospital will get you back on your feet again real soon.
Loved your breakfast photos.
