Good morning everyone, midweek already.
Having a bowl of soup to warm you up Denise reminds me of my school days,  when I got home Mum would have some soup ready to warm me up sitting in front of the combustion heater.

We had a dusting of snow overnight. It was -4c when I walked Chance this morning. The ground was hard as iron.

CC, that is cold.
It was 38 here yesterday.  We had to collect our car from repair place. No charge, still under warranty.
Didn’t feel like cooking dinner so went out.  Went to a Pizza place called Forge.  Listed as second most popular place in Ballarat for a meal.  Expensive and pretty awful.

Good morning everyone. Stay in a cool place fellow Aussies, this weather is so draining.
On the other side of the world it’s the complete opposite, neither is what we want but somehow we cope.
Not a good wrap for the second most popular eatery in your city Chookie.

Does not sound like a good review at all.  :D

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

That's pretty poor Chookie.

Ballarat is a city of pubs.  They serve pretty good food.   We wanted something different. The top choice was booked out as it was their Bingo night. Eating out during the day presents no problems at all. There are dozens of really good Cafes but these usually close at 5 .

Hi friends.
The cold weather continues. Very hard walking on the frozen ground this morning.

A very disappointing meal for you Chookie.

Good morning all, another stinker here.  Sunday before we have a drop in temperatures.
I have the grand-dogs coming for the weekend today so will have to be home longer than usual.

I'm actually on here for more than a moment in the morning, so I can say good morning too!  Although I just realised that it is 11.40am in some states, so only just morning.

I won't mention that it is only going to be 29 here today. We have had  lots of 30-33* which isn't bad at all. I believe it is going to be 34 on Thursday.  I so feel for you all, I don't like the hot weather.

We are planning to go down to Busselton for 4 sleeps on Monday. DH still has some work to do on the car that he wants to show at the Classic Car show in March.  I'm not sure how we are going to get 2 licensed Model A cars down there and an unlicensed one by 7.30am.  I think it will be a very early start!
