Morning all. Enjoy your weekend.
Very gusty wind at the moment.  Forecast for rain.
Creswick Farmers market today.
Lunch at trendy hotel and then visit to sick friend. The chef at this hotel makes his own SD bread but is honest enough to admit to adding yeast so as to make it more predictable.

Good morning everyone. Very woolly day here, what a change from above average temperatures earlier in the week.

Morning everyone , cold very windy day . DH and DD are not going to deliver the hay today as the farmer rang to say it is like a black dust storm there, the top ash from the fires ! It is also to windy to unload the truck . Wanted to go to local game but think that it will be an indoor day - Netflix , homework and organizing for the start of another school term !

Morning all.
It has been raining on and off for 24 hours.  Lovely. We even have the AC on.
Good day to try new bread recipe.
Nice to see so much activity from members.

Good morning everyone.  Cold and wet here, we have the heater on.  Lots of rain overnight, DS quite happy as their tanks were very low and they were thinking they would have to buy water.

Have written to Richard Cornish of the Age newspaper.  He stated  in an article this morning that you couldn’t bake bread from a cold start in the oven.  We know that this is incorrect.
I have directed him to the Forum.
His comments on baking scone from a cold start is worth reading.

Hi friends.
It looks like we might get a brief spell of warm weather this week. It will be great if the mud starts drying up.

Much the same here Margaret. I don't quite need a jumper.

Morning all.
Another nice Autumn day coming up.
Gardener coming today.  I gave her the recipe for Cookie’s Classic bread.  She loved it.

Good morning everyone.  Sunny but cool here.  Our power will be off today so I am hurrying to get everything done.
