Thanks Margaret and cookie, yes the years certainly do fly by cookie.  At 10.45 last night they invited themselves down here for tea seeing as they know I am not up to going out at night so I checked my freezer stocks and told her buying takeaway will not be necessary, we can have what I find in the freezer - chips, spring rolls, pizza, there there’s the 7 meat pies I made this morning and I’ve got the ingredients to make one of my tuna/pasta meals I don’t think they’ve tried.  As a bonus I also have in the freezer a fully decorated birthday sponge which I bought for Geoff’s recent birthday which was not cut. There you go, an instant birthday party with food he enjoys.

Well done on the freezer meal Judy, even down to a birthday cake.

Robyn I’m sure your DH’s back will improve after his op.

Thanks girls, it all went well and I have a bit leftover of the freshly cooked food for a few meals for myself. I should sleep well tonight.

You are one amazing lady Judy. Well done rustling up all that food at a moments notice especially as you haven’t been feeling 100%.

A cooler day here today. A pleasant walk with Chance this morning across the fields and along the footpaths. Met up with Todd and his owner on our route. Todd’s owner was later meeting the Farrier as her horse needed new shoes.

Good morning everyone. Thanks Denise I was surprised I managed to time everything to be ready at the same time as I can count on 1 hand how many times I have fed others in the last 5 years. I didn’t wake until 9.25 this morning which didn’t surprise me. Having another day in bed today.

Hi friends.
It started dull and overcast this morning but the sun broke through this afternoon. My usual walk with Chance took me on a different path as the horses were blocking our way this morning, so I another route. As you know I'm not keen on horses, especially when there are fourteen of them.

Good morning everyone.

Judy, I can't remember when I last had a good nights sleep.  I often lay in bed for 4 - 5 hours without dropping off.
