It was a very cold weekend , snow on the mountains apparently . DH took DD to hockey on Sunday, while I recouped from a head cold . Lots of Quirky Jo's chicken and coconut soup .

Hope you are feling better K Atie.  If it is the same cold as the one I had recently, it is horrible for 3 days but clears up very quickly.

I hope you are on the road to recovery K Atie.
It was lovely and sunny driving today, I actually had my jumper off in the car.
Tonight we are at Carnamah, where we lived in 1989, 90 and 91. It hasn’t changed a bit. We walked past the house we had and had put a garden in, but there is no garden left out the front and only the trees we planted out the back.

It’s interesting looking at our past homes cookie, they never seem to be as well kept it seems. Enjoy your break.

K Atie, hope you are recovering.
Cookie, generally I don’t think it is a good idea to look at previous homes.  Invermay is my 5 th home and all other have been improved except Cherokee which is now used as a weekender.  I hate to think what it is like.
Cold and wet, still. Good day for baking.

Good morning everyone. Sunny but still cool.
K Atie, good to hear that you are feeling much better.
I often pass our old home and feel sorry for the way it looks now.  I have no regrets leaving it though.

Good morning everyone, a lovely day here.
I’ve loved every home I’ve had (only 3 since I left my childhood home), made improvements to each one but when the time came to move on, I have done it quite easily and like you Margaret, with no regrets.

We drove from Carnamah, via Three Springs, where I taught, past our old farm and on to Morawa. We are staying here 2 nights. There seems to be so many vans doing a wildflower trip. Morawa is a very, very tiny country town ( only special because it is my home town!) and it has 19 vans in the park here tonight.
This afternoon we went for a drive out east of Morawa and even though it was drizzly we saw quite a few everlastings. The daisy ones weren’t open as there was no sun. Some very wet, slippery roads but we loved it.

We once lived in Kalgoorlie and I always wanted to visit the wildflowers, but never made it, unfortunately.  I am sure what you are seeing is quite spectacular.

Cookie, they are amazing.  Thanks for the photos.  We are still travelling with you.
Very windy here. Not as cold as a few week ago.
