Hello my friends.
Long time no speak!
Once again I'm likely to move house, and once again have to restart my life. Just considering all my options after the one thing I did not expect has happened. As many of you know my husband has been bravely fighting incurable cancer for 5 years and very thankfully so far has outlived 2 poor prognoses. There is no timeline to work to any more, just repeatable lung ablation and monitoring via scans every 3m. It's very tough for him and also very tough for us. Sadly to add to all this he has now left me and says he wants to live on his own. I have no words, and after the six house moves we've had and everything else it is beyond my comprehension. Xxx

Hi DJ, how lovely to hear from you again, I often think of you, but I am totally devasted by the turmoil you have gone through and are still living with on a daily basis.  I am sure there is nothing I can say or do that can change anything or help, but know that there are people "down under" who will be sending you virtual hugs and support as you cope with day to day life.  Stay strong and, if you need to vent your feelings, we are here and have broad shoulders.

It looks like your DH is trying his best to battle through his cancer in his own way.  I also feel for him and send him my best thoughts.

Take care of yourself.

How lovely to be an adopted Aussie

A very cool day here today with lots of showers. Walked early with Chance and was very glad I had a warm coat. The horses were blocking our usual route so I took another path.

It's freezing here at the moment, but going to be sunny and 17 later 

Friends arrived from Sydney for a few days visit last evening.  Our lovely neighbour knew they were coming and that I was still on 'bed rest' so he came over with a big pot of soup for dinner.  How wonderful was that!
