Good morning everyone, woke early but thought I’d have a lie in until I remembered I hadn’t set my clocks forward before retiring last night.  Still, I will appreciate the extra daylight hour tonight and perhaps the dove right outside my window will delay the courting of his mate for that extra hour.

Hello all, have been baking today, and meal prep for the week.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Cookie, the starter in the water really does work.  If it doesn’t float the first time, give it a stir and let it stand for awhile longer.

Good morning everyone, another warm day here.  Almost reached 30 yesterday and today is expected to be 28 - nice to wear some lighter, brighter clothes after a long winter.

I  have some rye starter preparing itself at the moment, so I will try it. I had a call from a lady I had spoken to from Diabetes WA recently. I mentioned I had some SD starter and she was welcome to some, she rang me this morning and I am meeting her to share some of your SD starter with her Chookie. She doesn't have a Thermomix but would like to try SD.

Cookie,  when I give starter to anyone without a TMX, I tell them to use my TMX recipes but when it says  knead 4 minutes.  Knead a minimum of 20 times.
Seems to work.  Also say same for yeast bread.
Think we might get some rain today.

Morning all.
Quite cold again. Light rain yesterday. Not complaining as it is needed.
