The three of you will have lots of fun Chookie, Gert and Ral. I seem to remember that Gert was coming for a visit when the weather warmed up.

How wonderful is that, I am sure Gert will keep you both well an truly entertained (the spell check for entertained came up as intertwined, that gave me a chuckle).

K Atie, happy Birthday to DD.
Our GD has just turned 16.   To celebrate she and friends and mums have hired a bus and 20 are going up to ski lodge for the coming weekend.  I am making dips and bread for them to take. ( have also made Anzac biscuits with macadamia nuts. )

A nice day today so more time in veggie garden.  Lots of Globe Artichokes but will let them flower as I like the purple flowers.

I cannot believe your GD is 16. My oh my we have all been friends a very long time. We are a very lucky bunch of women and of course some men.

Gert, I would have to agree about being friends for a long time.  I know I have been part of the Forum since 2009. So many nice memories.
Not to worry about gardening.  We will be too busy to be concerned with such mundane tasks.

Good morning everyone.  A cool and overcast morning here.  Hopefully it will warm up a little later on.

Good morning (just), been up since 7 am doing more spring cleaning.  Time to go to the nursing home for a rest!

Monday seems to have become housework day here. I try to avoid as much of it as possible!

Bucketing with rain at the moment.  I feel sorry for the punters that have been looking forward to a lovely day out at the Melbourne Cup today, they will be drenched and miserable.

Good morning everyone, my window cleaner has just arrived then I will be off to the cup celebrations at the nursing home.  Such a shame it’s a terrible day, guess it will be anyone’s guess now as to who will win the big race.
