The fruit and veggies from the Italian greengrocer last twice as long as supermarket stuff, so I understand how you feel Chookie and Marina. However they mainly stock local stuff and I often need things that can't be sourced here, eg kiwifruit.

Hi friends.
A cold day here today. Rain forecast for tomorrow. A good walk with Chance this morning. We had to take a different route today as the horses were blocking our path.

Morning all.
Another mild day today.
Have been asked to provide some dips and Portuguese Custard tarts for DD Paddle Club.   Better get organised.

To our Sydney members, stay home and stay safe - terrible conditions in your area today.

... and to those in Queensland, stay safe and try to keep cool in those horribly hot temperatures.

Certainly not complaining about our 19 degrees with no rain today.
Busy getting ready for Gert.  We pick her up at the airport at about 2 pm tomorrow.
Looking forward to her company.

I really feel for those in Sydney and people in Queensland.
I hope Gayle and Uni and others are all ok.

Just about to phone for an UBER to take me to the airport for my flight to Melbourne. I am feeling exhausted already as Chookie has planned a pretty full on few days for us. Better take my running shoes. So looking forward to it apart from the "freezing" weather. It was 46 degrees in my driveway yesterday and at 0640 it is already 30 degrees here today. I have packed a coat, scarf and cardi for Ballarat!
