A dull day here today. It was so quiet out on my morning walk with Chance. There wasn’t even the usual horses grazing in the fields.

Perhaps they are saving up to party had tonight Denise.

It's warm here today and tomorrow but then it drops again, thank goodness.
Maybe Cookie but warm beds were probably the cause.😂
Another very dull day here. Another quiet walk with Chance. I think most people have taken a days leave and will go back to work on Wednesday. Kids start their school term next week.

Good morning all. Happy New Year.
Didn’t enjoy the entertainment on the TV much last night. Must be getting old and crusty. Did enjoy the programme on Freddie Mercury.
Warming up here, predicting 41 for Friday.

Good morning everyone.  Happy New Year to all.

I'm not looking forward to Friday's 41 as we have a funeral to go to.

Happy New Year Friends,
A really dull day on the first day of the year. Walked Chance. Bumped into Todd and his owner this morning on our walk.

That is very hot Chookie. I just read a post from Marina saying it is going to be 44+. Not very nice weather at all.

Blimey Cookie that hot.
A sunny but very cold day here today. Walked Chance this morning and this afternoon. DH was busy so couldn't walk him.

Morning all.
We survived the heat quite well by not going outside often. There was a hot wind, just like standing in front of the oven blowing out hot air.  It got to 39 here.
Today is blissfully cool.

We got to 44 yesterday - you are right about it being like standing in front of an open oven door!

Marina, that is very hot.  I hope you were sitting under that lovely tree.
When we shifted in at Invermay, I planted some Xmas Lilly bulbs.   They have the most Devine perfume.  Unfortunately they open after Xmas.

My goodness Marina that is very hot!!! 🥵🥵🥵🥵

I love Lilies Chookie, especially the Longiflorum. The scent is gorgeous.

It’s cold here today. My hands got very cold walking Chance this morning even though I had gloves on.
