39 predicted for today.  Watching tennis and drinking iced water.  Love our ice machine.
We were to go to Barwon Heads with DS and family but decided to stay home.

Ouch, that heat isn't nice at all.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

My goodness girls those are hot temperatures 🥵🥵🥵
I had a chuckle at that Denise.
What time is first light for you at the moment?
It’s first light at approx 7.30 Cookie. If it’s a clear morning I usually see the sun poke it’s head above the horizon about half an later.
Overcast this morning and dull. It’s forecast to get colder later in the week.🥶

38 again today.  Hate this hot weather. Have been putting ice blocks in Chooks water.  They won’t drink warm water.

Cooler for a few days, although today 37.  Then very hot again next week.
CC, I envy you the cold and damp weather.   Don’t really enjoy hot weather food.  Miss the stews, casseroles and roasts.

Good morning everyone and thank you all for your good wishes.
I came home from hospital on Tuesday and the operation went well.  I will be on crutches for about 5 - 6 weeks and I am managing them quite well.  I don't have a lot of pain and most of that is when I do the exercises.  I do have some medication if I need it.   Other than that I am feeing well and taking things easy.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Great news mab, hopefully you will rest up, and get better soon. Use the pain killers, you might need them. :)

That is great news Mab. Well done on the crutches, I hope I never have them as I think I would get all muddled up.

That's wonderful news, Margaret.  I found when I got home after a major operation it was a bit scary for the first day or two without the support of medical staff, but it was so much bettr being at home that I soon got over the scary feeling!  Take care and look after yourself.

I saw a photo this morning of my cousin's village in the Outer Hebrides and it was snowing ... just looking at the photo made me feel much cooler  :) !

Welcome back Margaret. Great news your operation went well.

It was snowing when I walked Chance this morning. By the time I got back home it had stopped and the sun broke through. It’s still very cold.🥶
