We might need your food parcels girls. People are panicking and stockpiling Trudy. Some hospitals have stockpiled medicines. Many manufacturers have built up their reserves of materials needed to continue to manufacture goods. Food will be scare and expensive.
The government has till the end of March to sort an agreement with the EU. The biggest stumbling block is the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland. Ireland will still be in the EU but Northern Ireland being part of the UK will leave. A “hard border” will cripple the Irish economy because all trading goes via the UK.
It’s still snowy here. A hard frost predicted for tonight with more snowfall for Thursday evening/night.

CC,  thanks for the good wishes, will pass them on.
The stockpiling sounds like war time.  Awful.  I can just remember it as a small child here.

DH was just asking about Ral this morning, Chookie.  I will pass on the wonderful news that he is now at home.  Hugs from us both ... well, a hug from me to Ral and a hug from DH to you!

Hello all, Great new about Ral.

We have had a fair bit of rain, flooding up at Daintree river, and some in Townsville, but none near us.
We still need the rain, our dam is 92% full. :)

Wonderful news about Ral.. Hugs all round.
I will pass on your lovely words to DD Chookie.

CC it sounds awful. I remember when the UK joined the EU, some exports from Australia and NZ were affected.  Hopefully it will all turn out well and the panic quite unnecessary.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Good afternoon everyone.  Lovely and cool today.  Mother Nature put on a marvellous display of thunder and lightening last night.  It went on for nearly 2 hours.  Not much rain though.

Chookie, good news that Ral is home from hospital, sending him a big hug.

Glad to hear that Ral is back home Chookie, I bet he is very happy about that or will he miss the fuss all the lovely nurses made of him.
Troubling times ahead for you Denise.

It snowed yesterday to a depth of 9cm. Today the snow is still hanging around. Tonight it’s going to drop to -7c. 🥶 At least the temperature is going to rise next week.

CC,  that sounds heavenly to us as we worry about Bush fires and experience another very hot day.
The Bee man came yesterday and took 10 frames from our hive.  He thinks there is about 30 kilos of honey there.  We will get 10 ks. The extra bonus is the large amount of fruit this year from our Apple, Peach and Plum trees.

Good morning everyone.
CC, your -7* sounds lovely, we are heading for 39* today.
Chookie, the fresh oney sounds delicious.  Don't let my DH anywhere near it, honey is his favourite food. :) :)
