Cookie, thanks for the cool weather but it hasn’t reached here yet. 30 degrees at 9 pm.

Good morning everyone, Adelaide is going to melt today with 41 degrees expected before finally a late cool change is promised. Another day when I’m going to do absolutely nothing.

Good morning everyone.  Hot again today, expecting 38 degrees.  Like Judy I won't be doing very much.

Mab, I hope you are all right. See fires in your area.
Ral had good news yesterday afternoon.  All the tests from the Melbourne hospital visit are ok.  The horrible steroids that make him feel awfulhave dealt with any problems that may have been there. We are going out for breakfast to celebrate.

Chookie, the fires are not that far away from us but we are fine.  We do have some of ash falling but no embers thankfully.   Good news about Ral, I hope you enjoyed your celebratory breakfast.

Mab, glad you are ok.  Keep an eye on the ash. Hope the wind is blowing away from you.
33 here again today.  Nasty North wind.

Chookie and Ral that is good news. I'm just going to go out to the shed and tell DH, he will be thrilled for you too.

Mab take care, Judy, Chookie and others I really feel for you with the heat.  41 is really ghastly.

I just heard the weather, it is going to be 39 tomorrow.  Not fun, but at least it isn’t 41.

Take care in those high temperatures friends. Having bush fires near where you live sounds very scary so be careful everyone.

We have rain and a storm blowing through tonight called “Freya”
Back to the vets tomorrow with Chance for a checkup.

CC, hate it when they give storms names.  Means they are nasty.  Stay safe.
30’s again today.
Mab, you still ok?

We are absolutely delighted with Ral's results, Chookie.  Such good news.

Weather cooler today, thanks goodness.  It will be fairly pleasant all week so a bit of a respite for us.

Not sure where you live Mab, but if it is anywhere near the fires, please take care and keep a close eye on on the weather, embers and the fire line - and be first in the queue to leave if you have to.

Good morning everyone,  A lovely cool morning here.

I feel so sorry for all those who have lost everything in the fires.  We are fine but after saying we had no embers falling we did end up with quite a bit of burnt leaves etc falling in the yard.  We went out to our DS in the afternoon to make sure they were ok.  He lives in the middle of 17 acres of bush.  They had packed all their papers and personal items, the boat was hooked to one of the cars and the others were ready to go at a moments notice.  They had no intention of staying to fight   All good so far..
