Great news Ral had a better day Chookie. Hugs to you both.

Another windy day here. It’s been windy for two weeks now.

Gert, enjoy your break away. We were just talking about you yesterday with our Bagpiper GD.
She is really surprised that people enjoy their antics .
Marina, she is learning the Black Bear, ( I think that is what it is called)
Another warm Autumn day.
CC, don’t envy you that wind.  School kids always crazy on windy days, especially North winds.

I so agree with school kids and wind/rain. We had a saying 'wind and rain effect the brain.' The kids and parents thought it was a bit silly, but oh so true.
DD says they find at the hospital that full moons can make some people weird too.

Cookie, love that saying.  I can believe that about the full moon also.

Good afternoon everyone
Visitors have gone now and the house is very quiet.  Several late nights with lots of talking and laughter, so much to catch up on.  We have promised not to leave it another 15 years before we get together again.

Mab, that is great.
Chookie, I was piped into the church with the Black Bear when we got married!
Marina, I remember you telling us that. I told GD she has to get it just right so she can play it for you.
Today we had visitors for lunch.  As they walked out the door our neighbours arrived to see how Ral was. When she left we had 10 minutes to get ready to go to GS 15 th Birthday Party.
Now to stack the dishwasher.

That will be a very special day to hear your GD playing the Black Bear.  We will look forward to that.

How is Ral getting on?  I hope he isn't being stressed too much with visitors, much as, I am sure, he loves to see everyone.  Big hugs to you both from us.

I don't feel as if I have been home today ... worked until after 8.00 last night, back here before 7.00 this morning to let the plumbers in.  Our build is coming along well and we are beginning to get an idea of the final size.  The wooden framework is now up, the windows have arrived (although won't be in for a wee while yet), the outside cladding is due to happen in the next few days and the roof is planned to be on by Easter!  The first month or so of demolition and prep work seemed very slow, but (to me, at least) it seems to be galloping along now.

Chose all my whitegoods yesterday, plumbing 'stuff' is under control as well so, all we have to do for the time being is sit around and pay the bills  :)

Hello everyone, I’ve been reading with interest what you’ve all been doing. I’ve been flat out like a lizzard drinking here and have just engaged a cabinet maker plus a tiler to give my kitchen a makeover. DD2 has been a great help, she knows more about these things than me and has great confidence when negotiating.
