Hi all.
Have been listening with Interest to the discussion about how they can control the violent content on Facebook etc. I suggested to Ral that they should employ our Moderators to sort this out.
Although we have been busy, ( tomorrow is the first day for months when we have nothing on). I feel things are looking up slightly.
Marina, that sounds like things are moving for you. Great.
Judy, let us know how you are going with your Reno.

I recently wrote that I thought that the Coles HotXBuns were terrific. I take it all back. Yesterday while out shopping I bought another lot. They are awful. They were solid and dry. The. Use by Date was ok.
Looks like I will be making some.
Spending time with the Chooks today. Spring clean their shed and put litter on garden.

I hope you and Ral enjoy your free day. Chookie.

Good luck with your works to the kitchen, Judy. I enjoyed planning our new one, although it is not nearly as big as I would have liked, it was still fun choosing everything. Choosing toilets didn't turn me on so much ... but there is an interesting new rimless bowl concept on the market now so we have ordered them and will see how it goes. Looking forward to choosing curtains (actually, I think we only need one in the bedroom!), but never mind, I'll have fun looking through everything. I know what I would like but whether I find it or not is another thing entirely.

Unlike you Marina, I actually don’t like the selection part, sometimes there are too many options. Hence taking my DD along, it makes my life so much easier and her and I like the same things. She really put the pressure on to reduce the price, she’s like a dog with a bone. I still have other things on my plate to concentrate on so it was great that she was available to help me on the kitchen makeover. Mine isn’t going to be an entirely new kitchen, the cupboards shells will stay, there will be a few more of them though and I’m having shaker doors plus a stone bench will replace the laminex top I have now.
You sound as if you are doing quite a few things at your place, that must be time consuming! Good luck with it Marina.

It all sounds very exciting Judy and Marina. I remember when we were doing the selections when we built, 15 years ago. It was exciting but scary.

Hi friends.
A good walk with Chance this morning. There were lots of song birds chirping away which was lovely to hear. Chance of course was chasing the squirrels. 😂

CC, birds chirping, does that mean Spring is coming. ?
Judy, you will love the stone bench tops. We had laminate at Cherokee and I hadn’t realised how easy the Granite was to use and look after.
When I make bread I just dust the bench, plonk the dough on it and push it around a bit. When finished, I just scrape up the mess and then wipe the bench down.

We're having a linoleum bench top (DH's choice). I am not sure how that will turn out, but we will have to be very careful with it, I think. Given the choice I would have decided on something different, but DH has as much say in these things as me, so I am just going along and keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be a disaster.

Good morning everyone. A rather overcast day here. DH has taken the car in for a service before we head off next week for a few days at Lakes Entrance.

Marina, I think that choice of bench top will be great. You will probably need to work on a silicon mat when baking.
Mab, lucky you.

We have a centre piece in our kitchen and I often think it would be nice to replace the top of that with granite. Maybe one day.
Enjoy your break away Margaret. We go home tomorrow.
