Denise I think you had better go our any buy a new pair of Wellingtons. Buy brightly coloured ones so that you can see them in the mud.

Buy some for Chance whilst you’re there Denise.  I have a pair I don’t use, pity you live so far away.

CC, isn’t it just the way.  More rain when you least need it.  How about some glue on the spot where it is leaking.  I’m a whizz with super glue.  I can even stick my fingers together.
Today is going to be hell here.  Last night the car’s lights wouldn’t switch off. GD needs to get to school for Bagpipe lesson and man coming to place new element in oven, remove oven door for repair, and replace our dishwasher with one that is 2 years old.  He is then taking our dishwasher to DD and installing it because hers has stopped working.  Think I might hide in the Chook shed.

Chookie, I have days like that too.  No matter how I plan my days someone always seems to want something or something always go wrong.  Never a dull moment but we always manage.

I’m still alive and not hiding in the Chook shed.  All I can say it that there are some very nice people around.
The RACV lady sent a service man immediately who started the car.  The service workshop fitted the car in, repaired it and didn’t charge .
The Meile service man arrived on time and missed having lunch so I fed him.  He took so much care in removing and fitting in the new dish washer .He also replaced the FF element in the oven.   I gave him some Strawberry jam. We all then went around to DD where he replaced her broken dishwasher with our old one.
Our neighbour cut the grass around the front gate where it had got a bit long.
We even managed to get GD to school in theme for her Bagpipe event.

A shame we don’t live closer Judy I would have had your Wellies.
Great news your day was a success Chookie and I’ll try your superglue trick on the split boot.

I did buy a new pair of Wellington’s in the Black Friday sale at half price.😁 They are going to be delivered this week.

CC, good to have 2 pair of Wellies.
Last night we attended a Xmas music concert in Ballarat. One of our neighbours was in the choir.
Local Doctor played the solo Cello. Thought of you Marina.
Has turned cold again.

I have been using my serviced TMX.  It is so different I would swear that it is a new one.  It looks new and works differently.

There is a thriving doctor's orchestra here (in fact there are doctor's orchestras all around the world), they are generally very good musicians and put on concerts several times every year.
