How lovely to hear from you JulieO.

We had a dry day today after torrential rain yesterday. Not much happening with our build as our ground workers are frantically trying to finish another project they undertook before ours.

Hello all, what a great lot of news to catch up on. We have 7 teenagers for the weekend. Lots of cooking, to feed them all. :)

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Ooh it looks like it is warming up for you. 29 here today.  It’s the third cool day and is lovely.

34 here yesterday.  22 here today.  One hot day at a time is enough.
Dr appointment this afternoon.  Checking on the pills I have been taking.  Seem to be doing their job.

Had our gym lunch picnic yesterday, loads of tempting food (unfortunately).  Have been fasting since so that I can at least feel a little bit virtuous - only 1 1/2 hours until I eat again!

I've been Christmas shopping this morning.    Called into our local spud shed on the way home and bought more apricots at the same price as the farmers market.  Stupid me forgot to get any lemons.

We don't have a stand alone fruit & veg place here so am reliant on the supermarkets.  I keep an eye out for when apricots are at a good price so I can make jam.  It's such a lovely gift and does taste far better than what you can buy.

Julie, I couldn’t agree more about the quality of homemade jam.  We have a Jam Currency here.  Anyone who gives us good service gets a pot of home made jam. It is so easy to make a small batch in the TMX. Apricot, both fresh and dried are both popular.

My goodness it’s back to back storms here at the moment bringing plenty of rain! So pleased I bought a new pair of wellies. Definitely need them in this weather. 💨

CC, how are you coping with cold and wet in the Caravan.? We are thinking of you.
Mild here today.
Dr has made a follow up appointment for the 24 th.  Glad I am not doing the family Xmas this year.  Having a CT test today.  I think he is being extra cautious. He is going O S and wants to be sure everything has been covered.  The pills are working well.
