I have a free day today where I don't need to go out, looking forward to it.   :D

For everyone who will be experiencing high heat today, please stay safe.  A cool change is expected tonight here, yay!  ;D

Enjoy your trip to Melbourne Chookie, it’s going to be so hot today so you might have to stay indoors.

Rals specialist rang and said come in early to avoid the heat. 33 already. At 11 am.
Looking at 41.

Ouch, that is hot Chookie. I’m glad the specialist said come in early.

Have a lovely holiday Robyn. I’m sitting watching the lunchtime news and see there are fires in the Adelaide Hills, round Woodside. I hope Amanda is safe as I think she is fairly close to Woodside. I was devastated to read of fire fighters being injured and killed. Fire is so destructive.

The cool change came in late this afternoon so it’s very pleasant now cookie but it was a very sad day with quite a few houses lost. Not sure what town Amanda lives in, KarenH is up that way somewhere too.

Feel for those in fire prone areas.  Very frightening. Loss of life dreadful.
I’m not able to do much when it is so hot.  Getting up early to do jobs before we go to Melbourne.

Currently 18 in Melbourne - I am enjoying it while it lasts.  Last night it was so hot it was torture.  Heading off to market soon, before everything starts to heat up again

Good morning everyone.  Overcast and lovely and cool here.
We went to the local farmers market this morning and I bought the fruit and vegetables for our Christmas dinner.  Lovely and fresh and so much better than from the supermarket.

I think Amanda lives in Balranald and Karen at Crafers west.
It got to 33 here today.

I feel much better this morning and the cool breezy walk down the beach really made me feel good.  I even needed a thin hoodie on :)

I read yesterday that more heat is due to hit SA around the 30th.  There's a mass of heat over the middle of Oz and because there's no rain it's not getting quashed so it will make it's way out to the ocean via SA  :-\  Said it could be hotter than what we just had!  Hope it's short lived again if that's the case.  :P
