Some very cold weather. Lake Macquarie was tropical compared you ladies. We got up to 18 today.
Mab, hope the doctor can sort your DH out.

Mab I hope the doctor can help your DH quickly. I heard that it was very cold in Adelaide this morning. They said some of the Torrens had ice on it.

Nothing new from here.  Cold'ish outside but clear skies ... so far!

A lovely sunny afternoon here but quite cold as well.

DH doctor visit went reasonably well.  Dr gave him something to help with the vertigo and nausea and wants to see him again in a month.  The results from the MRI have shown that there is a small anurisim - not sure how to spell it - and that will need to be checked again later on.   We still have to see the consultant later this month.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, poor DH.  I have had Vertigo.  It is not nice, however the medicine Is very good.
-2 this morning.  Another white frost. Beautiful day.  Spent time in garden and planted some Snow Peas and Chinese. Veggie Seedlings.
Picked some mint , onion tops and parsley and made Taboulli.

I have a friend who has vertigo attacks, she’s had to cancel so many outings, theatre booking etc because of it but refuses to do the exercises her doctor has suggested as she said it makes the problem worse.  Some times you just have to work through these problems, what may seem worse at first may do a lot of good in the long run.
The aneurysm certainly needs to be watched.

Mab, feel for you both. It is no fun at all to feel dizzy and nauseated. It's good that the MRI picked up the anurism as it can be monitored now.
Had a rainy start to the day but beautiful sunshine later on. It was lovely driving around the lake coming home from work,

Not good Mab.
My brother has just developed vertigo over the last month or so. His GP tried several things and the exercises made him vomit. He is dizzy when lying down. Opposite to many people. However he still feels ghastly when standing. He saw a neurologist a couple of days ago who has helped him a lot. apparently crystals form in our balance canals and he had one stay in the canal or something. The doctor got him rolling and tilting and all sorts of things. He was able to diagnose which ear it was and has now, hopefully caused the crystal to move to the bottom of the canal where they usually go. Rather interesting.

Cookie, I had similar experience to your brother. Doesn’t often  happen now.  I think Mabs  DH is different.
Not as cold today, but wind and rain expected later.

Mab I hope your DH improves, not nice.

What a change in the weather!  Woke up to light rain, enough not to go for my walk.  Was going to have tomorrow morning off which has now turned into today.  Am so enjoying this though, very windy and grey and the rain has really started to come down now. We don't get weather like this very often, so I really enjoy it when we do.  :D
