Very windy and warm.  Seedlings are loving it.

It's sunny here but with a cold wind. It will be cold here for the footy at Optus stadium tonight. I'm glad I decided to watch it on tv.

It has been very warm here.  Not used to this at all.  First day for ages when we haven’t had the heater on. Everything is growing like mad.

Plants certainly love a bit of warmth. It’s sunny here today but with a cold wind. DD is working, DH has gone to a cars and coffee with the old Ute and I’m cooking while I budgie sit.

Cool and wet here.  28 deg yesterday, 9 deg today.  Back into warmer clothing today.

Haven’t been doing much and totally frustrated. Have developed sciatica. Bl*** painful.  Managed to test Wholemeal Japanese Milk Bread recipe.  Sat to type up recipe, could hardly walk after sitting.
Good thing is that Ral has added Tinned Tomato soup to his cooking repertoire.  He can now cook toast, poached and scrambled eggs and tomato soup.  We will not starve.
Still cool here, 11 max today.

LOL

Take care, Chookie, sciatica is so sore.  You'll be fine with your gourmet chef husband there to cater for you!

Sorry to hear of your sciatica Chookie, well done Ral with your cooking.  My DH culinary delights are mashed potato and carrots and a chop if there is one in the freezer.

Oh no Chookie. Sciatica would have to be one of the most painful things around. I remember driving home from Canberra many years ago with it. A doctor gave me some strong painkillers and DD told me what to buy over the counter so that I could not run out while we drove home. DH still says he drove and I floated home. Such agony. Thank goodness for your gourmet chef husband. Take care.

Thanks for all the good wishes, you are a most caring group of friends. I managed to pop a chicken in the oven.  This must be the simplest dinner ever.
Today I got an eMail from Susan Hermann Loomas. She is American cook who lives in France.  I did a cooking class with her , when in Paris. She posted a recipe for cooking a chook the French way.  An Orange ,  lemon and Bay leaf in cavity. Butter and Bay leaf between skin and breast.
