Feel for u Frozzie. My DH was unexpectedly absent for almost all the last 6 weeks of our move.
Glad you have your folks for support.

Thanks Gert, doing ok ish.
Gonna send stuff to store so we can live, presently we can't move for boxes.
Getting used to it all.
Helped by all our lovely friends on here, thank you.
Got beloved Aunts funeral later this week, she was such a lovely person, 92, but is still sad all the same. DD coming home for it.

How are you now? No more scares I hope?

All good here in Cairns. Fit and fat as a fiddle. Beautiful weather and the pool is finally warn enough for me to get into it.

This week we are getting someone in to clean up the ever growing garden, remove the palm branches the huge seeds then mulch. All before the cyclone season starts.

Morning all..

Thx dj.. Hope you get things sorted out soon.. Step by step..

Gert just vaguely looking and yes know where we want to live although need to go and have a look around.. Only looked onlne for the moment... Its about 30 mins from m parents place.. For the moment i need to organise things like medicare and bank accounts etc which im doing today.. Have to go to the school too although im waiting on a letter from their principal in france..feel very much in limbo as have no cards or funds as yet as all is still in france with dh.. Up to me to get te basics set up here first then look for work.. Eventually a car but will wait for dh for that.can use one of mum and dads for the moment. Also need to wait for dh to get here and get work before we can buy a place and also need to preferably sell our place in france.. As i said limbo which is frustrating but its sunny and we have a roof over our head and are in oz so bit by bit we will get there.. Hopefully it will get sorted out very soon..ahh the joys of moving internationally.. We are not rushing out o buy as we want o find a house we love so wrt case if we cant cope here lol will be to rent short term to give us time o find what we are after..
