Too much on your mind Frozzie. The birds have woken me up . I live next to a creek and rain forest. . We hear  critters all night long and the birds start at first light.

I love frogs legs but I guess ot my little ones outside.

We ate a lot of  horse meat in the US after the Second World War.  Just another food you have to get your head around. I don't think I could eat witchity grubs but no one ever asked me. If they were cooked maybe. Often it is just the idea that puts people off. They might be surprised  t how great some things are if they tried. My daughter  thought cavier would be disgusting but at age 7 she had her first taste and has not stopped eating it since. Chicken livers are wonderful  for some.  But chicken feet not so much.

In China  they eat live squirming fish. Now that is a nasty thing to do.

It's definitely a mind thing. If I didn't know what I was eating I would probably enjoy it.
I have trouble preparing a lot of meat too, gives me the heebie jeebies touching chicken and vacuum packed corned beef. I have to wear gloves and sing.  :-[
