If two people know a secret it is not a secret.

I can keep a secret easily if it is a real secret. My daughter can too which is very  very annoying.

I love it when told a secret because it is then not a secret.

But if someone asks me not to tell I never never will.

If someone asks me not to tell but then publishes it elsewhere then it is imperitive  to tell because that,breaks the implied trust and they are not a true friend and you can never trust them ever so you may as well tell because what the hell?

Secrets are different to confidences. If someone genuinely tells me something in confidence my lips are sealed.
That combined with the alzheimer's makes me an excellent confidant.
