Robyn is polaramine over the counter or prescription?  I've never heard of it.

Yes It is Marina, you can get a 2 mg or 6 mg over the counter. I always keep both.

6mg might make you sleepy, so start with the 2mg. Much better than Claratyne, and the others. Been around for years. a little red tablet.

Can you tell I have hay fever,  or it might be after growing up in and around pharmacies....

Thanks, Robyn, I'll check it out.  Yesterday was particularly bad - hot and windy, worst possible combination.  It's been raining off and on for a few hours now so I've been much better.
