Morning all. I am in bed sneaking some forum time before the little ones get up. It is a cold one here in Geelong this morning, no birds chirping.

Morning all. Just thought I better drop in.
Little Ruby is doing great and settling in well, Jackson is being a bit naughty for his mum and doing thing he is not meant to be doing especially while mum is busy feeding bub :)
My friend is home and just ok, will take her some time to get back to normal.
And my mum had her bone scan and all looks pretty good, the doctor said the tumor is quiet treatable at this stage, a PET scan next week in Hobart which I have offered to take mum down (about a 2 hour drive away)
All in all everything is looking pretty good ;)

Thanks for the catch up, Dede.  News sounds good all round.

I empathise with your friend, but she will be fine, she just has to go through an adjustment period, which will be hard for her because it was such a traumatic series of events but we get used to everything, and probably more quickly that we realise and having a colostomy is better than the alternative - even though she is probably feeling very low and really rotten just now, she will settle and be fine.
