Not working today Uni. I did an extra shift yesterday and got stuck with the kids ward which is really annoying as I wouldn't have done the extra shift if I wasn't in my own ward.

Are you on breakfast this morning Uni?

Doesn't it take some catching up CC. I didn't get on here yesterday either and have 2 pages of threads to read.

Good Morning Marie.

Off to the farmers markets and then to the nursery for a few plants, the garden needs a freshen up.

Hello again. Back home after 3 viewings, and finally letting the one we really liked go. DH still liked it but we have agreed it is not right so actually 4 houses and 300 miles today.

It's like goldilocks and the three bears, 1) too small, 2) too expensive or 3) too wrecked!

Maybe there will be one just right in the end.

Trying to plan few more viewings for next sat.
May have to wait until springtime >:(
 :
DH will be away from Monday 10 am to fri pm again.  >:(
I know he has to but it's not easy especially with the useless phone signal over there.

DS birthday next weekend too so DD coming home :D
Just planning menu, well starting to.
Roast rib of beef from freezer, chookies choc delight for birthday lunch.

I need a cooking day Friday so actually hope I get called out on other days, but will have to work round that if need be.

Roast lamb tomorrow, DH came home with meat box  :) from farm

Yup it was. They know we have beef so sent chicken, lamb and good bacon and sausages.

They make a lovely pie there too:

Short crust base and lattice pastry top.
Filling
Caramelised onions in base, sausage meat next and tinned apples on top with the lattice cover.
I imagine can used part cooked apples instead of tinned?

Will experiment, on TMX, but have eaten it  before and it is yummy. Can be frozen either cooked or uncooked.

Morning ladies :D

DJ, a shame about the houses but I bet there is one out there which will be perfect for you ;) It might be a good distraction for you during the week organising DS's birthday :) Which day is it?
