I think I'll be worried about you until you're better Jess :-)) I'm a bit paranoid like that, particularly with back pain.

Maybe try some heat packs?

Back pain is bad because it has a bad reputation and you cannot see any injury.  It is the pits.

Thanks all. I am doing ok honestly, it is not too bad and am taking great care to not make it worse.
Done tongs on washing before too!
Here I can lower my washing line to right height.

Just chilling now on my bed,  hence on here but you will likely all be sleeping!

Will do a bit, rest a bit, do a bit, rest a bit til visitors come. It will be fine

Thanks again. You are all great company on here, fam life can be isolating.... Especially as my car is still wonky!

Good morning friends.
Jess take it easy. My thyroid is playing up ATM and my bones are aching. It hurts to lie down and I have had a terrible night. DS had a bad night and ended up in our bed which didn't help.

Jess I totally understand the isolation of living on a farm. Take care xxxx

You know when you are almost over the hill when you make dinner for visitors and then remember just when  it's all ready that they are not coming until next week!

We ate well tonight and will again tomorrow with no cooking!!!

LOL

First time ever done this!

Have you ever done anything similar?

Back improving all the time, thanks for lovely messages.

No DJ but I have done several silky things in my life LOL.
Just went outside for a coffee and a smoke, and it is white. Massive frost last night. It looks so nice though.

Jess I have done that too. Never mind. It sounded like a lovely meal and you can do it easily again next week. I so envy you your sheep. It has been a long time since we have has a roast lamb dinner.

That's good Uni, this weather it's nice to lay in bed. I couldn't today as it is GS day which means an 8am rise so that I can collect him from DD's work at 9am.

DJ, that's terrible - I would not be happy having to do it all again the following week.  I've had mine all ready to start cooking and received a call they can't make it due to illness so just went ahead anyhow and invited neighbours over as the food had to be cooked (the meat had been thawed).  Do you write your engagements and appointments on a calendar or white board?  I'd be lost without mine. Good to hear the back is improving, look after it.

Me too, Uni . . . must be something in the air . . . or else the Sydney water!! (or the fact that the Sea Eagles were trounced by Storm last night :-)) Nice feeling to sleep in though!!  Haven't done that for ages!!

DJ - been there, seen them and done that!! . .so easily done! . .   just look on it as a practice run!!
