What does 'not following their sheets' mean Hally?

Probably their "to do" list for the mornings. Make your bed, pack your library books, brush your teeth etc.

Ah yes, you are probably right Michele. I never had such a thing when my kids were young.

DH and I are off to the movies this morning!  We had said that once we retired we would go once a month but it is really about once a year.  Going to see Star Trek and that's a movie you just have to see on the big screen.  Big day out :)

We do seem to have all these plans Kayc but we are so busy when we retire that it just doesn't happen as planned  ;D
Enjoy the movie.

Yes mich :)

Lrs case worker did up a sheet for him with pictures as well as instructions. She did one for cp who laughed at it.

If Lr follows his sheets, we all have a relaxed morning, if he doesnt I feel I have been awake all day & its only been about 45 mins. If he follows them we are on track, if he doesnt bedlam reigns.

He knows but it doesnt register, he is the one that looses out as cp school 2 mins away his 15 mins by car. Told him but he doesnt get it.

Had an interesting conversation with a child psych as lr was in big trouble at school again, carrying a type of weapon. In reality he can only comptehend & remember 1 thing at at time, he was told off by the deputy & me & all could  femeber was the first line >:(!!!

Hally that is fairly common with children who have problems. Perhaps best to give only 1 instruction at a time. It may make life easier.

Hally, do you think cp would be willing to work through his sheet just as a way to keep the other fellow on track?  If you explained that it might be helpful I daresay cp would be willing to help out that way . . . just a thought . . .

Cookie you are right, had a meeting with the deputy principal, school physc, lr & me. He coud only remember the first line when we asked him. Which was if I bring a weapon to school, I might be asked to leave the school, he coudnt remember the rest of the 10 min talk >:( ???

Slowly slowly.

Gf, maybe but cp thinks he is well above that, but he is trying to help lr, will ask tomorrow & see what happens.

Thx
