Hope you are doing ok Frozzie..... Kid free is weird to start with, but gets better with practice
Today cool only 14 to 15'. Still got my Bermudas on, might have to have a bath to warm up!
London will be a bit far from us Yvette, maybe next time! Good luck with new job.
Might get up to 19/20 at the weekend.
Right must pack another box.

Morning all. Busy day today, lots of prep for birthday lunch tomorrow. Have had GC for a couple of days. Great fun. Enjoying Le Tour but stayed up late watching the Aussie team win the Time Trial.
Frozzie, you will miss the kids but it is great for them to develop skills of independence. Also develops a unique relationship with GP. Good for you to have a few days off .

Morning all... Bit of a cough this morning
. Did absolutely nothing yesterday.. Surprised at how well im coping with no kids.. Alot better than i thought...the kids have always been fiercely independent for their age.. i have to keep roping them in...but gp's are finding it hard lol... They are worn out day 1 which gave me a giggle... Kids are full on .. Who would have thought lol.. Got the told you so ringing in my head haha..

LOL Frozzie!
Bit of a bad morning here today - miss6 didn't want to get out of bed and get ready for school, we have a friend picking her up each morning - and I could see their garage door opening up but Miss6 still has not surfaced, I can't do alot about it which results in me yelling at her and her bursting into tears cuz "you don't yell at us, mum." which then results in me bursting into tears and feeling like the most terrible useless mum ever...
All over a child who didn't get up when her alarm went off (she usually is up and dressed within minutes of it going off) and me not being able to a) get her up and dressed cuz of the C-section and b) drive cuz of the C-section.
But .... she is at school now (with all of about 3 bites of her breakfast in her
) and thankfully my friend understood.
Think we are all ready for the holidays to start....2 more days of term 2!

I would have just let her stay home Astarra.
My kids did not want to get up this morning, because of the cold...

Kim be assured that you will hear if there are any problems. It is hard though.
Astarra, the poor little mite is probably worn out. Kids get tired toward the end of term. Give her an extra cuddle for getting off to school, even if it isn't quite true.

Glad she went off to school astarra, too many kids play sick and go slow so their parents will let them stay home. They need to be committed to school just like adults need to be committed to turning up to work every day.

Our GC have just started their hols. All very tired. We usually spend time outside with them but it is too cold. Mum brought a video, Hugo. So Dh happy to sit on couch with them and watch it. Non violent and a nice fairy tale.
Asterra, I feel for you and your little one. But she and you did well to get her to school. She is obviously a good kid. Congratulations.
Frozzie, us GP do get tired, but we find ways to cope. I notice a lot of GP at the pictures these days.
