Mich how are things round your way? Are you, Don and your home OK?

Just in from DJ

Not through the worst yet. More plastering.

LOL thanks Suzanne, it is very escape to the country.
We found it ourselves but is like the mystery house or one Kirsty would fine on location, location.... Watched that a lot when DH was recovering from his op this year.

We lie in bed and hear the owls.  ;D

Escaped down to the soft furnishing place, am very lucky it is very very near. They gave me tea and respite for half an hour. Only female company in weeks. DD home tonight. Saw some of the fabric  ;D

My Scottish great granny used to describe things as a ' fearful pleasure' and this whole project is a bit like that. Fun and awful all at the same time.

Wet walls for en suites are from grant Westfield via the plumb centre, however link won't load. Colours grey marble for one and beige eager for  the other.

Have you tried soaking it in Biological Washing Powder? You can usually shift most things if soaked in that ;)

Bicarbonate of soda Uni, spread a paste on and leave24 hrs. Then scrape off burnt on residue. It may still be brown but not burnt.

Dishwasher tabs also work sometimes soaked overnight but wear gloves when scrubbing after.
Good luck.
