How wonderful chookie. Sounds great, they are learning life skills and being cared for too.
Fun for everyone.

I need to do 4th coat on the parquet floor tomorrow. The room is painted now.
We have four double beds in bedrooms now, and two carpets down. Only the twin beds to sort and two more bedroom carpets.
More curtains to collect tmro too.
Away to my mother's on sat for a quick overnight visit, she has been very unwell for few weeks and I need to catch up with her and my sister who has been helping her. Long drive each way.

Sound like you are on nearing the end. Maybe you could host some WOOFERS to give the B & B a try and get the garden in shape at the same time. Just a thought.

It does sound as if it's all coming together DJ, good idea of Gerts too.

Chookie, I can understand why the woofers don't want to leave you - you are really spoiling them which is so typical of you and Ral.  They will have a wonderful day out tomorrow at the market and then what you have planned after that.  The host family didn't give them much of an extension  :-)) ;D

Good afternoon all. :)

Chookie, so glad the WOOFers are having a good time and want to stay longer with you, surely the host family could have given them a few more days.

DJ, it sounds like the end is in sight :)  Enjoy your visiit with your mum and I hope she gets well soon.

Chookie I am sure that Leo and Lucy will speak fondly of you for a long time.

DJ it sounds as though things are finally coming together. Drive safely to your Mum's and I hope she is feeling a little better. I'm sure your visit will cheer her.

Morning all.
We only had the Woofers because the host family had no more work for them.  Yesterday,  Lucy  helped me in the garden and made pasta for Dinner.  Leo and Ral split fire wood and ate lots of pasta.  We followed Farfellinas recipe for the Pasta and I must say it was beautiful.
I made Mango Sorbet in the  TMX.  It was worth a photo, with Lucy, Leo and Ral all standing around the machine with spoons ready to do taste tests.
Today,  the Kyneton Farmers Market then lunch at Paramour Winery and back to host family.  They leave on Monday for a few days in Melb. I will send photos to Lucy of the veggie garden as it grows.
I don't think We have spoilt them.  I see this as a shared cultural experience  and they are very nice young people.
